Model-specific service

Why the correct AGM or EFB battery matters

Designed for High Electrical Demand

AGM batteries handle repeated starts and higher accessory loads better than a basic flooded battery in vehicles designed for them.

Correct Capacity and Size

We match group size, cold-cranking performance, reserve capacity, and terminal layout to the vehicle.

Battery System Setup

Some vehicles need the new battery configured for the vehicle. We verify the requirement from the make and model.

Vehicle coverage

Vehicles that commonly use AGM or EFB batteries

The list below covers common requests, not every supported model. Contact us with your exact year, make, model, and engine.

BMW
Mercedes-Benz
Audi
Porsche
Range Rover
Land Rover
Volvo
Jaguar
Lexus
Cadillac
Genesis
Start-stop cars
Start-stop SUVs

Do not downgrade an AGM-equipped vehicle to a basic flooded battery unless the manufacturer specifically allows it. We match the installed specification whenever possible.

AGM stands for absorbed glass mat. It is a sealed lead-acid design commonly used in start-stop, luxury, and high-electrical-demand vehicles.

Usually you should replace the battery with the type specified for the vehicle. Downgrading can reduce performance and service life and may interfere with start-stop operation.

The existing battery label, vehicle specification, and year/make/model information help identify the correct type. We confirm before dispatch.

The battery chemistry alone does not determine this. Additional system setup depends on the vehicle’s energy-management system.

Request a technician

Tell us about the vehicle and where it is parked. We will confirm fitment and availability before dispatch.
